Until we meet again
It was three years ago that I came to this placeand the final time that I would see your face.
I still remember how your eyes shut out the light
and all that remained was the eternal night.
You are gone and I'll never know why.
One so young should not have to die.
Everyone who knew you thought you were great.
So why were you chosen for this awful fate?
I stand above you with a flower in my hand.
So overwhelmed by emotion that I can hardly stand.
"Until we meet again" is what I had to say.
I laid down the flower and then walked away.
